- The Resurrection Message Jesus Gave By His Seven Words from the Cross
Date: Apr 24, 2011 | Passage: Luke 24:33-45
Series: Our Risen Savior
From the dying lips of Jesus, from His raging-thirst-dried-mouth, in the midst of excruciating pain, even though being crushed by the horrors of sin and death and the pains of hell—Jesus carefully and clearly speaks. If we will listen, Jesus is speaking to each of us today from His Crucifixion. From Resurrection morning and onward, Jesus taught His disciples in the reality of what God accomplished through Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. Those disciples needed help to fully understand all that had taken place—and so do we.

(#22)
Date: Sep 1, 2002
As the world crumbles, as society disintegrates, and roles and genders are obliterated - God's Word stands. - Women and Wives God Will Bless
(#25)
Date: Sep 22, 2002
God has inspired two pictures in Proverbs. One is the Proverbs 31 woman; the other is the Proverbs 14 woman. In contrast to the elegantly resourceful, humbly beautiful, woman of wisdom in Proverbs 31 is the Proverbs 14 woman. She is the antithesis of excellence and virtue. She destroys and troubles, and lacks wisdom.

Paul distilled the life of a believer down to one word in I Thessalonians 1:10 - WAIT. We are waiting for Jesus, waiting for the Kingdom, waiting upon Him who loved us and loosed us from our sins. But what do we do while we wait? That is answered in I Thessalonians 5:17 "pray without ceasing".

Date: Nov 17, 2002 | Passage: Philippians 4:11
Laying Hold on Eternal Life means we are alive and thinking and motivated by the fact that we are already immortal. We are thinking Eternally when we start seeing what our moments look like when they are observed from God's Throne.
