  • The Wrath of God & The Depravity of Humanity
    Date: Jul 28, 2013 | Passage: Revelation 6
Series: The Return of the King: Revelation 6-19

As we continue through Revelation, we have come to one of the key doctrines of the Bible, the Doctrine of the wrath of God. The wrath of God is part of the absolute justice of God. No sin can go unpunished with God’s absolute holiness and justice. So, even though there may be little or no evident response from God for most of the sins being poured out by fallen and sinful humans, God’s justice has kept track of every sin ever sinned against the Infinite, All-Knowing God Almighty. But a moment is coming when the river of humanity’s sins, piling up behind the dam of God’s patience will reach the limit, and the righteous, infinite, just wrath of Almighty God bursts forth.

  • Thy Kingdom Come
    Date: Jul 7, 2013 | Passage: Matthew 26
Series: The Return of the King: Revelation 6-19

Have you ever noticed how Jesus ended His first communion with His disciples? Jesus promised that He was returning to establish the Earthly rule of His Father’s Kingdom. Communion, or the Lord’s Supper is to be a regular reminder to Christ's Church of His Return. In fact when Paul recounts Christ's words to him in explaining the Lord’s Supper for the local churches he used the words: “till He comes” (1 Cor. 11:26).

  • What is Hungering for God?
    Date: Jul 30, 2013 | Passage: Mark 2:18-22
Series: Discover The Majesty of Jesus

To best understand fasting in God’s Word we may need another way to describe biblical fasting, and that would be to ask: “How is your Hunger for God?” or “How are you doing in the total yielding of your life to Christ today?” Most of us would say, as we look around at our lives and others’, that we are all right. But Jesus gave a different test. He said don’t look around at others; look inside. He asks, “Does your hungering after Jesus Christ, His Word, His way, His coming, His righteousness, His will, and His supremacy in your life cause you to choose joyfully and willingly to abstain from food?”

  • Why Would God Want Every Church of Every Generation to Study the Revelation of Jesus Christ?
    Date: Jul 14, 2013 | Passage: Revelation 6
Series: The Return of the King: Revelation 6-19

The Book of the Revelation has always been regarded, by all who have taught it, as unlike any other of the books in the Bible. Revelation is not only the ending to God's Word, it is also an invitation from God. As we read these eight verses we will see the purposes of God for culminating the Bible with this Book called Revelation.
