- The Resurrection Message Jesus Gave By His Seven Words from the Cross
Date: Apr 24, 2011 | Passage: Luke 24:33-45
Series: Our Risen Savior
From the dying lips of Jesus, from His raging-thirst-dried-mouth, in the midst of excruciating pain, even though being crushed by the horrors of sin and death and the pains of hell—Jesus carefully and clearly speaks. If we will listen, Jesus is speaking to each of us today from His Crucifixion. From Resurrection morning and onward, Jesus taught His disciples in the reality of what God accomplished through Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. Those disciples needed help to fully understand all that had taken place—and so do we.

- Christ: Refuge for the Weary
(#06)
Date: Jul 3, 2005 | Passage: Hebrews 6:18
If anyone should have been stressed out and weary it was Jesus. He lived the perfect human life, yet--He lived in a whirlwind of activity. He was constantly eating, walking, talking, and sleeping with twelve men who never seemed to leave Him alone. Vast crowds and desperate individuals sought him out. He was chided, rebuked, and even scoffed at by His own family.

Loneliness - if you ever feel it, know that He felt it. If you ever suffer feeling friendless - know that He is the friend who will stick closer than a brother. If you ever feel forsaken - remember He said that He would never leave you or forsake you. If you feel alone - trust the One who said I am with you always, to the end!
