    (#01)

    Date: Oct 23, 1994 | Passage: 2 Corinthians 13:14

Among the nearly 300 Old and New Testament references to the Spirit, Perhaps the most profound is 2 Corinthians 13:14. "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all." (NASB) It looks pretty normal until we zero in on that one word -- FELLOWSHIP. Yes, the well known Greek word, koinonia. But what does it mean?

    Date: Aug 28, 2011 | Passage: Romans 14

As believers, God offers through His Word an entire philosophy of how to please God in the realm of gray areas, questionable things, liberty, and legalism; and all in the context of drinking alcohol and any other substance that takes away our ability to think clearly.

  • God's Map of the Future: Daniel's 70 Weeks
    (#09)

    Date: Apr 29, 2012 | Passage: Daniel 9:20-27

Daniel 9 records perhaps the most amazing prophetic passage in all the Bible. Who would ever dream of predicting an event 500 years into the future and naming a specific day on which it would occur? One man did just that. His name is Daniel; his prediction was the day Jesus would ride into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.

  • What Does the Phrase: "Great Commission Living" Mean for Us Today in the Church?
    (#10)

    Date: May 27, 2012 | Passage: Matthew 28:18-20

What did Jesus do on the mountain in Matthew 28? After 3 ½ years of training, Jesus assembled the remaining eleven and gave them a target, a mission for life. Most likely they never forgot that moment, much like others riveted in their minds: seeing the risen Christ, the day He called them, some of those awesome miracles like the calming the sea and the raising the dead.

  • Death & Cremation: Does God Advocate Only One Burial Method?
    (#16)

    Date: Sep 16, 2012 | Passage: Genesis 3:19

  • What Does God Actually Say about Modern Charismatic Theology?
    (#18)

    Date: Sep 30, 2012 | Passage: Deuteronomy 13:1-5

On any given day of the week on Christian Television, and in many churches around the country the words, “God told me this”, or “God told me to tell you”, or something similar can be heard over and over. How do we know what God has said, is saying, or even whether what we are hearing is really from Him?

  • What Is God's Stated Purpose for Christ's Church?
    (#21)

    Date: Nov 11, 2012 | Passage: John 17:17

Sometimes it is important to stop and take stock of where we are, where we are headed, and why. That is always especially important when we are adding staff, so now is the time to talk about why we are here on Earth, and what God has left us to do for Him. The pathway for each of Christ's local churches couldn’t be clearer. God's Word expresses it in so many different places and by so many different combinations of words.

  • What Sins Would Keep Someone from Going to Heaven?
    (#22)

    Date: Nov 18, 2012 | Passage: James 2:10

Any sin that any person dies with that is still clinging to their account, keeps them from going to Heaven. They would need forever to pay for one sin. Jesus only died for sin once, and He saves us and justifies us either from ALL sins, or NO sins. No partial salvations are possible.
