  • The Love of Jesus

    Date: Jul 5, 1998 | Passage: Revelation 7

Remember chapter 6? Who can forget the scene: somewhere beyond the starry sky there stands a herald angel with a trumpet in his hand, and by the decree of the Lord God Almighty, there is a day, there is an hour, there is a moment, there is an elected time when the angel shall sound and the Kingdoms of this World shall become the Kingdoms of our God and of His Christ." Thus opens the Tribulation, the first step in Christ’s taking back the Earth, which is rightfully His. One by one Christ unrolls the seals. As each seal is broken, He takes further possession and control of His inheritance. Here are only a few of the dreadful disasters that take place during the Tribulation:

  • The Patience of Jesus

    Date: Jul 12, 1998 | Passage: Revelation 8

The scene in the 8th chapter of the Revelation explains to us one of the great mysteries of Heaven. We see how God responds to the prayers of His saints. We see into the inner court of the Lord God Almighty and how there standing in God's presence are seven archangels. And we see how the Patience of Jesus and the prayers of the saints work together to fulfill God's purposes. Finally we see how the vengeance God has promised to His people is finally poured out upon sinful Earth in Heaven’s perfect time.

  • The Judgment of Jesus

    Date: Jul 12, 1998 | Passage: Revelation 9

The history of planet Earth may well be traced by the wars our fellow humans have so often fought. It was Babylon that first conquered in a global way. How many peace-loving boys and their dads perished to fill the coffers of their king? Then Assyrian and Persian and Greek armies sowed blood, broken bodies and death across the face of the Earth. In cold, calculated and cruel efficiency the Romans fought and won the world we know.

  • The Power of Jesus

    Date: Aug 9, 1998 | Passage: Revelation 16

Have you ever wondered what the World would be like without Jesus? Hitler freed Germany from their consciences and it brought the killing fields, the gas chambers and an industry of death. That was the darkest hour of the 20th century. Mankind’s unending fight with God at last brings them the freedom they always wanted, life without God. And what does life become without God? A living death, and a living Hell of unutterable blackness.

  • The Vengeance of The Lord

    Date: Aug 23, 1998 | Passage: Revelation 19:11-21

The wonder of Jesus is how long He waits to avenge evil upon the Earth. For all of human history since Eden, Satan has seemingly triumphed. For thousands of years sin and death have run riotously around the globe, and He waits. Every village has felt some injustice. Every hamlet has seen evil raging. Every son and daughter born has sin’s dark, black drop staining their hearts. Every life experiences the tears and sorrows of Satan’s lie. Every home ultimately breaks up by death’s visit. No family escapes seeing the circle of their home dissolve into the dark depths of the grave. Every life eventually will end in death.
